Before you walk into the falls, the team has been ahead of you. Chairs and a table are set up, pool noodles and water shoes are ready. Your guide is beside you throughout, knowing what's there and where to look.

• Dry season (August to October): The waterfall may not be running but the waterhole is there all year.
• Cruise ship passengers: the three-hour duration and flexible departure times fit Whitsundays port schedules.
• Not wheelchair accessible.
• Not recommended for guests with high blood pressure, epilepsy or similar conditions.
