During the stop in Geiranger you have enough time to eat a god lunch, rent a e car or e bike to visit the viewpoints Eaglebend or Flydalsjuvet, or why not walk up the Waterfall walk to the Norwegian Fjordsenter. Only assistance dogs are allowed on the boat.
