Arusun Catamaran Sail with Snorkeling in Aruba

Arusun is no ordinary tour boat. She is a 60-foot Formula II Ocean Racing Catamaran designed by Rod McAlpine-Downie and built in 1984–1985 for serious ocean sailing. In 1989, Dutch sailor Henk de Velde took her—then named Alisun J&B—on a solo around-the-world record attempt, completing the journey in 158 days. Today, Arusun is proudly operated by Aruba Watersports Center, a family-owned and operated company where personal attention and Caribbean hospitality are at the heart of the experience. Choose a regular morning departure at 9:30 AM or an afternoon departure at 1:00 PM. Prefer golden-hour views? An approximately 2-hour Sunset Sail departs around 5:00 PM and is available on request when the minimum number of guests is reached. Departure time may vary during the year to follow the sunset. Private Arusun trips are also available on request. Contact us to discuss availability and arrange the experience that best fits your group.
