• For Mondays and Chinese public holidays, a 6:30 a.m. departure is advised to avoid heavy Great‑Wall crowds. Since the Forbidden City is closed on Mondays, many tourists visit the Great Wall instead. Entry lines of 1+ hours are common after 10:00 a.m. during these peak periods. Complimentary bananas are offered on the 6:30 a.m. departure to help sustain your energy for sightseeing.
• According to the latest Mutianyu toboggan/slide management regulations, visitors aged over 60 can only descend the mountain by chairlift.
• The toboggan slide may be temporarily closed in case of rain. In such situations, the toboggan ride will be replaced by the chairlift (or cable car)
• No refund will be issued for the difference if toboggan is replaced by chairlift/cable car due to weather or safety regulations.
