Full Description
Experience the authentic side of Chiang Mai! Start your journey with a scenic jungle trek to Tard Mok Waterfall, followed by a delicious homemade lunch at our cozy riverside base camp. After lunch, float down the peaceful stream of a Northern Thai village on the first and only river tubing experience in Chiang Mai. On the way to our base camp, we pass through the Mae Taeng valley — a region known for its elephant conservation efforts. While we do not visit any sanctuaries, you may glimpse elephants roaming freely in the fields from a distance, offering a special touch to the journey. Discover Saa Gee Waterfall — a hidden gem rarely visited by tourists — and take time to soak in the quiet natural beauty of Chiang Mai’s countryside. Know Before You Go
- A photo of your passport is required for insurance purposes.
- River color may vary due to seasonal changes and natural clay sediment—this is normal and safe.
- For small children, we recommend sitting on a parent’s lap during the tubing activity for added safety and comfort.
- Please note: Pickup, drop-off, and overall schedule may vary depending on traffic and the number of participants on the tour day.
- The tubing area is generally calm but may contain some rocks. Water depth ranges from approximately 30 cm to 1.5 meters, depending on the season.
- The jungle trek to Tard Mok Waterfall follows streamside trails with uneven terrain, large rocks, and rustic bridges. Some sections may be slippery when wet. Please wear sturdy shoes with a good grip.
- Expect hot and humid weather. We recommend bringing a refillable water bottle, insect repellent, and sun protection (hat, sunscreen).
