Experience the authentic side of Chiang Mai! Start your journey with a scenic jungle trek to Tard Mok Waterfall, followed by a delicious homemade lunch at our cozy riverside base camp. After lunch, float down the peaceful stream of a Northern Thai village on the first and only river tubing experience in Chiang Mai. On the way to our base camp, we pass through the Mae Taeng valley — a region known for its elephant conservation efforts. While we do not visit any sanctuaries, you may glimpse elephants roaming freely in the fields from a distance, offering a special touch to the journey. Discover Saa Gee Waterfall — a hidden gem rarely visited by tourists — and take time to soak in the quiet natural beauty of Chiang Mai’s countryside. End the day with some local snacks and herbal tea before heading back to the city. Note: Wildlife sightings are not guaranteed, as animals roam freely. Know Before You Go

  • A photo of your passport is required for insurance purposes.
  • River color may vary due to seasonal changes and natural clay sediment—this is normal and safe.
  • For small children, we recommend sitting on a parent’s lap during the tubing activity for added safety and comfort.
  • Please note: Pickup, drop-off, and overall schedule may vary depending on traffic and the number of participants on the tour day.
  • The tubing area is generally calm but may contain some rocks. Water depth ranges from approximately 30 cm to 1.5 meters, depending on the season.
  • The jungle trek to Tard Mok Waterfall follows streamside trails with uneven terrain, large rocks, and rustic bridges. Some sections may be slippery when wet. Please wear sturdy shoes with a good grip.
  • Expect hot and humid weather. We recommend bringing a refillable water bottle, insect repellent, and sun protection (hat, sunscreen).

Pick-up & Journey (07:30 AM - 08:00 AM) We’ll pick you up from your accommodation in Chiang Mai. Enjoy a 1.3-hour scenic drive through the picturesque countryside of Mae Taeng.

Welcome to Tubing Chiang Mai campsite — your jungle retreat for the day! Change into comfortable trekking clothes and store your belongings in a secure locker. Before we begin the trek, you’ll receive a brief but important safety orientation.

Begin your guided adventure through a breathtaking jungle trail that follows a tranquil stream. Hike through lush forest, bamboo groves, and hidden jungle paths filled with natural beauty. Along the way, discover secluded jungle pools and enjoy the calming sound of flowing water. Reach the stunning Tard Mok Waterfall — a hidden gem perfect for a refreshing break and unforgettable photos. Take time to relax, soak in the peaceful surroundings, and then trek back to Base Camp.

Free 180 Minute

Return to Base Camp and enjoy a delicious local lunch freshly prepared for you. Take time to rest, rehydrate, and soak in the peaceful jungle atmosphere. After lunch, change into your swimwear and get ready for the next adventure!

Included 60 Minute

Float down the Mae Taeng River and soak in the stunning jungle scenery around you. Drift past the area near a renowned elephant sanctuary — if you're lucky, you might spot elephants or water buffalo cooling off by the riverbank. Along the way, enjoy views of peaceful riverside villages and lush forest landscapes. Note: Wildlife sightings are not guaranteed, as animals roam freely in their natural habitat.

Free 90 Minute

Take a short 5-minute jungle walk from Base Camp to reach the hidden Saa Gee Waterfalls. Slide down smooth natural rock into clear, refreshing pools — a fun and energizing way to cool off. Swim, relax, and soak in the peaceful jungle surroundings before heading back.

Free 40 Minute

Return to Base Camp for a refreshing hot shower and some downtime. Enjoy hot tea and light snacks while relaxing in the peaceful jungle setting. Afterward, begin your journey back to Chiang Mai, with drop-off around 6:30 – 7:00 PM.
