Just outside of Cody, Wyoming, we head into the badlands searching for wild mustangs across the high desert. We will travel backroads with big views of the McCullough Peaks, Heart Mountain, and the distant Absaroka Mountains. We spend time watching the horses in their natural habitat and share stories about the mustangs, the wildlife, and the history of this part of Wyoming. It’s quiet country here and there are plenty of wide open spaces with antelope, golden eagles, and some of the best views around Cody.
