Walk & Canal Tour: Copenhagen Highlights + Changing of the Guards

Experience the best of the city with a local host on this tour, with 5 to 7 km of walking and a 25 minute ride on the public commuter ferry* that the locals use (not a tourist boat ride). Discover top sights, hidden gems, and witness the Changing of the Guards at the royal palace, Amalienborg. We begin with a 1-hour walk before boarding the public electric harbor ferry, (if it´s not full). Your host shares stories, and tips as we glide through the city’s waterways. *If the ferry is full or out of service (this is rare: it mostly happens on weekends and sunny afternoons in peak season), we follow the scenic canal route on foot instead, covering the full itinerary with 2 extra km of walking. After the ferry, we continue on foot to the Little Mermaid and take a short break on a café for a boost of energy before ending the tour at Amalienborg Palace.
