Accademia Gallery Timed Entry Tickets and Guided Tours

People from all over the world come to Florence to see him — David. This iconic statue, sculpted by Michelangelo, is widely regarded as one of the most celebrated works of art in history. Towering at over five meters tall, David represents the pinnacle of Renaissance sculpture, capturing both the idealized beauty of the human form and the intense psychological tension of the biblical hero before battle. More than just a statue, David has become a universal symbol of strength, youthful courage, and the enduring power of human creativity. As you walk through the halls of the museum, you’ll also discover the history behind Michelangelo’s Slaves — unfinished sculptures originally intended to adorn the tomb of Pope Julius II. In addition, take time to admire masterpieces by Botticelli, Ghirlandaio, Giambologna, and explore the fascinating Museum of Musical Instruments!
