All inclusive Essequibo River Tour

This all-inclusive tour offers a rare opportunity to explore the Essequibo River’s natural beauty and historical landmarks in a single day. Unlike standard river cruises, this experience includes curated stops at culturally important sites like Fort Zeelandia and Fort Kyk-Over-Al, as well as time to relax and swim at Baracara Falls. Travellers benefit from seamless logistics, including round-trip transport by road and river, a fresh local lunch (at Sloth Island or Aruwai), and a knowledgeable guide who shares insights on the river’s Dutch colonial history, diverse ecosystems, and regional communities. This tour is ideal for curious travellers, families, and groups looking to combine nature, history and leisure. With small group sizes and a fixed itinerary, you’ll have time to ask questions, take photos and connect with the landscape at a comfortable pace.
