Award-Winning Authentic Ramen Making Experience in Kyoto

Vegan, gluten-free and halal guests join the same class at the same price, with ingredients swapped rather than left out. Each class opens with a ramen quiz on the history of ramen and how it got its name, added because guests asked to learn the story behind the bowl. Our recipe is rooted in 40+ years of Kyoto ramen-making: Ramen Factory opened in 2017 as the ramen school of Menbaka, a Kyoto ramen shop founded in 1984. Tripadvisor Travelers' Choice Best of the Best 2026: #7 Food & Drink experience worldwide.
