Kyoto Sumo Show Experience with Chicken Hot Pot & Souvenir

These details apply to our Regular Shows (12:00 PM, 3:30 PM, and 7:00 PM). Late Night Sumo Show (10:00 PM) has different inclusions, as described below. At Kyoto Sumo Club, enjoy sumo history and culture with an authentic sumo-style meal and All-You-Can-Eat & All-You-Can-Drink. The show begins with a traditional geisha dance, followed by live demonstrations of exercises, techniques, and sumo etiquette. Then, watch a best-of-three match between retired sumo wrestlers. You can also step into the ring and challenge a wrestler ※Challenger spots are limited; if there are too many applicants, participants will be chosen by lottery ※This is a fun, family-friendly show, not a real training session or tournament = Late Night Sumo Show (1-Hour Plan) = 1-hour sumo show for guests who want the excitement of sumo late at night without the full dinner program. This plan includes All-You-Can-Drink service. ※FOOD, GEISHA DANCE, and SOUVENIR GIFTS are not included *Available only: March 1–April 30.

Know Before You Go

• Public transportation options are available nearby
• Infants are required to sit on an adult’s lap
• Suitable for all physical fitness levels
• Please note that the Sumo Show is different from a serious morning practice tour or a sumo tournament. It is designed as a fun, family-friendly entertainment experience for both adults and children.
• Please arrive at least 20 minutes before the show starts.
• The number of challengers for the Sumo Challenge is limited. If there are many applicants, participants will be selected by lottery.
• Vegetarian and vegan meals are available upon request, but must be reserved at least 2 days in advance.
• The Late Night Show (10:00 PM) does not include dinner, souvenirs, or a geisha show
• If your friends or family booked separately, please add their name or booking number in the comments. Please arrive together if possible so we can try to seat you in the same area
