D-DAY was just the beginning! They landed in Omaha, Utah... And three more beaches... Then they sank into the Norman bocage to fight a terrible battle. Discover what the soldiers and also the Norman civilians went through in the 100 days following the D-Day landings, during this sometimes unknown and yet decisive battle that was the battle of the hedges. The Normandy Victory Museum is home to 27 soundstages with meticulous details, more than 15,000 authentic objects, antique military vehicles, archives to discover in a cozy and intimate atmosphere to learn, understand and pay tribute. An ideal visit for families (1h30 to 2h) and for all history lovers.
