Montserrat Basilica and Museum Ticket with Roundtrip Cable Car
Escape the city for one of Spain's most breathtaking sacred sites — the mountaintop sanctuary of Montserrat, less than an hour from Barcelona, rising straight out of the Catalan countryside in a range of dramatic rounded peaks. This self-guided visit includes a round-trip ride on the historic Aeri cable car, entry to the revered Basilica of Montserrat & admission to the celebrated Museum of Montserrat — everything you need for an unforgettable day on the holy mountain. Your journey begins aboard the Aeri cable car, gliding silently up the mountainside in just five minutes, the valley falling away beneath you & the monastery growing closer through the windows. At the top, step inside the Basilica of Montserrat to stand before the Holy Image of Our Lady of Montserrat, then wander the Museum of Montserrat & its masterpieces by Caravaggio, El Greco, Picasso and Dalí. Pause on the terraces to take in views that stretch for miles — a perfect blend of spirituality, art and mountain scenery.
