Khau Pha Pass

Khau Pha Pass, one of the most famous mountain passes in Northern Vietnam, is located in Mu Cang Chai District, Yen Bai Province. At an altitude of over 1,200 meters, this winding road stretches more than 30 kilometers, offering breathtaking panoramic views of terraced rice fields, lush valleys, and remote hill tribe villages. The name “Khau Pha” means “Sky Horn” in the local Thai language, symbolizing its high position among the clouds.
