Joshua Tree Open Air Hummer Adventure

Take a thrilling ride through Joshua Tree National Park in a comfortable open-air Hummer. Please note: this tour is unavailable December–February due to frigid high-elevation temps. During these months take our Joshua Tree Scenic Tour in our heated van. It’s often 20–30°F cooler in the park—dress in layers! Depart from the Palm Springs Art Museum at 8:30 am (with a scenic, air-conditioned shuttle ride) or save with our Yucca Valley Welcome Center departure where the open-air portion begins. The full tour lasts about 5 hours when taking our shuttle. Explore stunning desert landscapes with a National Park–approved guide and discover the area’s unique ecology and history. • Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
• Temperatures are about 20 to 30° cooler in the higher elevations so we recommend wearing layered clothing.
• Wear comfortable, closed-toe walking shoes and light, layered clothing in the summer and warmer clothing in the winter
