Puerto Madryn and Punta Loma Shore Excursion
The tour begins at the entrance to the port and takes us south, past Punta Cuevas, a historic site with the ruins of the first Welsh landing of 1865, considered the origin of Puerto Madryn. Here, we visit the interpretive centre on Welsh and native history. Continue to the viewpoint of the Tehuelche monument, from where you can enjoy a panoramic view of the city and its beaches. Then, we head to Paraná Beach, famous for the remains of the boat Le Folies, ideal for diving. We arrived at Punta Loma Natural Protected Area, a sea lion refuge, where we observed its activity, especially in the breeding season. Birds such as rock cormorants and guanacos, foxes and choiques can also be seen on the steppe. We finish the tour by touring the industrial and fishing park of the city before returning to the port. A complete tour of history, nature and wildlife.
