A slow, private 5-day holiday in Turkey’s tea country, built around wooden bungalow stays in Fırtına Valley and on the Ayder Plateau (about 1,350 m). You cross Ottoman-era stone arch bridges, climb to the 14th-century Zilkale fortress, soak in the Ayder thermal springs, hike to Huser Plateau for Kaçkar Mountain views and visit a working tea factory and Kız Kalesi (Maiden’s Castle) on a rock in the sea.
