This is an excellent day return trip to Golden Rock from Yangon. Perfect for those who wanted to get away outside Yangon only in a day and particularly interested to see why this place is so special, famous and important Buddhist's site. Leaving Yangon at 7:00 a.m and we'll be passing through Bago city, Htauk Kyant Allied War cemetery, beautiful countryside of Myanmar, Sittaung River and finally get into Kyaikhto Township. A truck car ride up and down hills from Kimpun Base Camp together with local pilgrims will be a great fun. Golden Rock is located about 3600 feet above the sea level.
