Board our vessel and cruise to Gibbs Cay, an uninhabited island known for its shallow turquoise waters and resident stingrays. Along the way, guests witness a meaningful cultural practice as the captain anchors and free dives for live conch using breath-hold technique only, without tanks or mechanical assistance—an expression of skill, tradition, and deep respect for the sea. At Gibbs Cay, the captain conducts a cultural conch demonstration, carefully extracting the conch from its shell and sharing its significance in island life. Guests then enjoy a fresh conch delicacy tasting, along with water and a local rum punch tasting. Guests also spend time in the shallow waters observing stingrays in their natural environment, moving freely along the sandy bottom, with an emphasis on presence and respect for wildlife.
