• During high-traffic seasons, anticipate queues at security screenings. It's important to understand that your ticket does not grant priority access. During the most crowded times, getting in may take longer than normal. We suggest arriving at the museum a minimum of 2 hours before closing during peak season, ideally 3 hours, to guarantee admission.
• The Orsay Museum remains closed on Mondays, as well as on May 1 and December 25. The normal opening hours are from 9:30 AM to 5 PM with last entry at 4 PM. On Thursdays, the late opening fee is in effect for visits that begin at 6pm; the museum shuts its doors at 9:45pm, with the final entry allowed at 9pm.
