Our guides are all professional and Certified Pico Mountain Guides with experience in High Altitude Mountains and belonging to AGMA – Association of Azores Mountain Guides. The guide will constantly monitor your well-being during the climb by watching you and speaking with you and being ready to act if necessary. You will be aware of the interesting facts about the Volcano formation and its geology, fauna and flora, always with good mood and motivation from the most experienced guides of the island. • Not recommended for travelers with poor cardiovascular health
• Travelers should have a high level of physical fitness
• Participants should not have gone diving 24 hours before the climb.
• It is mandatory to present yourself with proper mountain boots and equipment suitable for the activity. Failure to meet these requirements may result in exclusion from the climb, including by decision of the Mountain House, without the right to a refund
• All participants must be in good physical condition and have motor coordination. Please inform Tripix Azores of any physical restrictions, including issues with lower limbs, vertigo, mental health, heart problems, asthma, diabetes, pregnancy, or other health conditions.
