The drive from Taipei to Taroko Gorge in Hualien takes approximately 3 hours. The scenery along the way is breathtaking. Taroko National Park is renowned for its majestic, near-vertical marble canyon landscape. We welcome visitors from all over the world to Taiwan to experience the magnificent scenery of Taroko Gorge! Due to the severe earthquake that struck Taroko National Park on April 3, 2024, most attractions were temporarily closed. The officially confirmed stable recreational areas that will reopen on July 1, 2025 include: Chongde Recreation Area, Tongli Village, Tianxiang Visitor Center, Tabido Trail, and Xiangde Temple. Please note when booking our products that each vehicle in our tour service is equipped with only one English-speaking driver/guide.
