Once extinct in the wild, Takhi have made a triumphant return thanks to a successful reintroduction program that began in 1992. As of 2024, the Takhi population in the park has grown to over 315 individuals. Beyond the wild horses, Khustai offers stunning landscapes, diverse wildlife, and a peaceful escape into nature.
