Full Description
Day 1: Kigali City & History:
Morning: Arrival and check‑in at your B&B. Enjoy a hearty breakfast.
Late Morning: Kigali City tour — Visit Kande Museum, local markets, and the city center.
Afternoon: Rwandan Genocide Memorial — Guided visit to learn Rwanda’s history and resilience. Overnight at 5 to 5 Hotel.
Day 2: Transfer to Musanze Adventure
Early Morning: Enjoy breakfast at your lodge before setting off for Musanze. The scenic drive takes approximately 2.3 hours, winding through lush countryside and offering glimpses of Rwanda’s rolling hills, Check into your accommodation in Musanze, the gateway to Volcanoes National Park.
Afternoon Options: Depending on your energy and interests, you may explore local cultural sites such as the Iby’Iwacu Cultural Village, visit the Musanze caves, or simply relax and prepare for the next day’s boat trip to twin lake Bureera and Ruhondo.
Evening: Dinner and overnight stay Isange Paradise Resort.
Day 3: am boat trip to twin lake Bureera and Ruhondo:
Morning: Breakfast, take boat trip to twin lake Bureera and Ruhondo. after that visit to the Dian Fossey memorial. Afternoon: Leisure time — optional coffee plantation tour or local crafts market.
Day 4: Musanze Caves & Departure:
Morning: Breakfast - Guided tour of the Musanze caves - explore the lava tunnels and learn about their geological history. Lunch: Enjoy a delicious meal at Migano Hotel, known for its local cuisine and relaxing atmosphere. Afternoon: Transfer back to Kigali (approx. 2.5 hours).
Evening: Drop‑off at Kigali International Airport for your onward flight.
