Day 1: Kigali City Tour In the morning on arrival at the airport you will be received by our company representative who will take you for a half day Kigali city tour followed by the transfer you to your choice of accommodation for Dinner and overnight at Five to Five Hotel. Day 2: Transfer to Akagera National park and evening game drive. Dinner and overnight at Akagera Rhino Lodge. Day3: In the morning you will set off a scenic drive to Akagera national park with a packed lunch. After lunch, go for afternoon boat cruise on Lake Ihema. Expect to see hippos, crocodiles and water birds . Dinner and overnight at Akagera Rhino Lodge. Day 4: Transfer from Akagera to Nyungwe National park, the Ethnographic Museum In the morning, you will set off a long drive to Nyungwe National park. You will have en route stopover in Nyanza museum, Butare museum among other areas good for photography and adventure, as well as lunch. Reach Nyungwe in the evening for dinner and overnight at Gisakura Guest Lodge10 hours drive. Day 5: Chimpanzee tracking in Nyungwe National Park - Rwanda In the morning, you will set off to the forest for chimpanzee tracking adventure. Dinner and overnight at Gisakura lodge. Day 6: Canopy walk in Nyungwe National Park - Rwanda In the morning go for the breathtaking forest canopy. in evening you will be transferred to lake Kivu for Dinner and overnight stay in Kibuye.6 hours drive. Day 7: After breakfast you will enjoy the Boat cruise along lake Kivu and transfer to Musanze, after you can opt whether biking or walking the Congo Nile Trail where to enjoy the safari to Rwanda with the sounds of the waves washing the lake shores coming in to put you in rare moods. You will take breakfast at sunset or any other choice. Dinner and overnight at Isange Paradise Resort. Day 8: After breakfast you will enjoy the Musanze caves tour and visit the Diann Fossey Memorial plus the visit to the Musanze Market. In 1967, Dr. Dian Fossey founded the Karisoke Research Center in Rwanda’s Virunga mountains with just two tents and an unwavering commitment to protect and study endangered mountain gorillas. Her work laid the foundation for one of the world’s largest and longest-running studies of any animal species. 2nd dinner and overnight at Isange Paradise Resort. Day 9: After breakfast you will visit the Ishut Art, lunch in the city center and proceed to Kigali International Airport for your flight back home. End trip.
