Sunwapta River Self-Drive Rafting Trip

The Sunwapta River is the only Class III white water offered in Jasper National Park. The river is glacial fed and is great for first time rafters if you are looking to paddle hard, get soaked, and have a lot of fun! The river trip itself begins with a float where crews can practice their paddling technique before the show begins. Once the rapids start ,they just build and build until The Whopper soaks everyone just before the take out. All trips are in 6 person-guided rafts and all the necessary equipment is provided.

• Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
• Minimum age of 12 years old
• A waiver will need to be signed prior to your rafting trip
• Late and No Show Policy - Please double check the date, time and pick up location. on your confirmation. The pick up location for this trip is 40 minutes south of the Jasper townsite. Out of respect for other guests, we ask that all participants arrive 15 minutes prior to departure time. Please note the pick up time for your location. There will be no refund provided if you arrive after departure time or do not show for the date and time of your scheduled trip.
