Le Morne Mountain Sunrise Hike & Climb

Situated at the extreme southwestern tip of Mauritius, you will hike and climb to the memorial cross of Le Morne Brabant Mountain (UNESCO world heritage site), guided by our local and qualified mountaineer who is committed to safety, comfort and fun. Experience the first light of the day, followed by the magical sunrise with its golden colours which can be seen only at this time of the day. This activity involves multiple rock-scrambling and climbing sections - participants having experience in mountaineering will be a great advantage. During the hike, you will learn about the unique flora and fauna of the island, the history of the mountain and the cultural aspects of Mauritius, accompanied by a local qualified mountain guide. You will also spot “Boucle d’Oreille” commonly known as Trochetia Boutoniana, the endemic national flower of Mauritius.
