1-Hour and a Half Old Newcastle Walking Tour

Join us for a tour around the fascinating remains of Old Newcastle, including free entry to Newcastle Castle! This tour will bring to life the history of Newcastle which lies hidden behind the facade of the modern city. One of our friendly and knowledgeable guides will take you from Newcastle Castle along to Monument before stopping at St Andrews, Newcastle's oldest church, past the formidable town walls taking in Friaries, merchant houses, markets, before finishing at the imposing Black Gate - the gatehouse of Newcastle's Castle. From here you will be free to explore the amazingly preserved remains of the Black Gate and Castle Keep for yourselves - tickets are included in the price of the tour at a significant discount. Don't have time to explore Newcastle Castle after your tour? Don't worry! Your return ticket is valid for 48 hours after your tour!
