Panormitis Monastery Bus Excursion
A visit to Panormitis Monastery is a must experience! This convenient transfer, budget friendly provides pick ups from Pedi bay and from the Bus stop at the village of Symi. The current monastery complex was constructed in 1783, replacing the earlier chapel. It is a majestic structure with a blend of architectural styles, including Byzantine and Venetian influences. The monastery is renowned for its towering bell tower, which is the largest Baroque-style bell tower in the world. Also, there are two museums, one ecclesiastical and one secular for both visits.
