Private - Waiheke Freedom Tours: Man O' War & the Wild East
Most visitors see Waiheke's busy middle. On this private six-hour tour you'll see the whole island: the coast road east, lunch on Man O' War Bay and far-end tastings few visitors reach. It's just your group (up to four guests) with a local guide and a spacious luxury 4WD, so the day runs at your pace. Your guide stays with you all day, sharing island life, history and the stories behind the wine: we never just drop you at the cellar door. We'll leave you to enjoy lunch, and when the moment calls for it, we're happy to sit back and let the island speak for itself. Follow the route below, and tell us before your tour what you like to drink so we can fine-tune the tastings around you. We meet you at Matiatia Wharf off the 10am Fullers or 10:15 Island Direct ferry from downtown Auckland, and the tour ends at 5pm at your drop-off point. Children are welcome: under 12s travel free, and Man O' War has a playground. Locally owned and family-run, guiding on Waiheke since 2019.
